Quartets

a.k.a.
a.k.a. includes Sue Taylor (Harbor City Music Company Region 19, tenor), Janeen Summey (Chapter-at-Large Region 9, lead), Harriette Walters (Greater Nassau Chorus' Master Director, baritone), and Janell Paviolitis (Chapter-at-Large Region 15, bass). a.k.a has won 1st place Regional medals in 2008 and 2009. They competed at Sweet Adelines International Quartet Competitions in Honolulu, Hawaii in November, 2008 and Nashville, Tennessee in October, 2009. In this most recent International contest, they finished 11th out of 50 top-notch quartets from around the world and had the opportunity to perform as mic testers in the Quartet Finals. Drive!


Drive! includes Diane Duff (Chapter-at-Large Region 15; tenor), Carol Beckmann (lead), Patty Danner (Hickory Tree Chorus Region 15, baritone), and Helen Kogut (Jersey Sound Chorus Region 19, bass). Hailing from three different states, members of this foursome chose their quartet name, Drive!, to capture not only their great energy and passion but their long trek to rehearsals! Drive! recently placed 3rd in their first Region 15 Quartet Competition in April, 2009.










In A-Chord
In A-Chord includes Alison Antonucci (tenor), Torie Kramer (lead), Barbara Festa (Island Hills Chorus, baritone), and Gerri-Ann Seidman (bass). In addition to participating in Region 15 Quartet Competitions, they have been spending the last four years sharing their vocal talents at birthday parties, holiday parties, sporting events, and charitable events. In A-Chord enjoys sharing their love of music with friends, family, and anyone who will listen. They believe that “When it all comes together, there is no doubt: we are In A-Chord!”

Pitchcraft


Pitchcraft includes Joan Katinas (tenor), Rebecca Rihn (lead), Amy Cordero (baritone), and Lori Schnipper-Nastasi (bass). Although they've only been singing together as a quartet since December 2007, these four ladies have long enjoyed being members of the award-winning Greater Nassau Chorus. Pitchcraft has competed in two Region 15 Quartet Competitions and remain extremely proud of their 2008 6th place finish. When not ringing chords, Joan is an at-home mom, Rebecca is a Healthcare Recruiter, Amy is a Project Manager/Database Designer, and Lori is in sales.
